Update: The Quality in Careers Standard
London Borough of Lambeth secures funding for IiC assessment
IiC Success for Leigh Academies Trust
Congratulations to the Leigh Academies Trust – and in particular to Lesley Tannock, whose dedication and hard work has seen four of the Trust’s schools already achieving the Investor in Careers Award in 2016. These schools are The Leigh Academy, Wilmington Academy, Stationers’ Crown Woods and Milestone Academy.
Lesley is committed to ensuring that all of the Trust’s schools – consisting of seven secondary schools (including a UTC and a special school) and seven primary schools – attain this national accreditation. The first three of these primary schools embark on our Primary standard this month. The Leigh Academies Trust will be the first Multi Academy Trust in the country to have secondary, special and primary schools all working to achieve IiC at one time.
Lesley is truly inspirational and her achievement with four schools is no small feat, particularly as one individual would normally work with a single school. We wish her and her schools every success for the future.
